The company’s founder, Kelly Yeung, began his career in the restaurant business more than 35 years ago when he opened up Yeung’s Garden in Miami Beach, Florida. Using the experience he gained during his years in the full line restaurant industry, he expanded into quick service restaurants in 1987 at Miami’s Bayside Market Place. Bayside is located in the heart of Downtown Miami Florida. Providing the perfect setting to launch Mr. Yeung’s quick serve restaurant concepts. Today Bayside Market Place is still a must see in Miami and houses Kelly’s Cajun Grill, Yeung’s Lotus Express and Chicken Connection concepts.
The ease of expansion and operating simplicity allowed for rapid expansion that just wasn’t possible with full line restaurants. Mr. Yeung is well known and well respected in the quick service restaurant industry and has developed a reputation for his integrity, hard work, and determination. These characteristics have enabled him to succeed in the competitive restaurant industry and achieve his excellent track record.
